Two Old Goats

UVic employees, Charlie Burton and Colin Newell, are “Two Old Goats”.

On their new album, “Island Standard Time”, they convey their often tongue-in-cheek impressions of life and history on Vancouver Island through 9 of the 11 original songs.

Rounding out this quirky, eclectic and predominantly acoustic collection are two favorites spawned from Charlie’s 5-year stint as a full time wandering tune-smith – when he was just a kid.

The Goats have partnered up with the 2007 UVic United Way Campaign by pledging to the charity $5 from the sale of each of the first 1,000 copies sold.
